I apply my vast experience in the fitness industry as a personal trainer to all my surf lessons. I use my knowledge of the human body to help you achieve your goals of catching waves. Sergio is the definition of a Zen master when it comes to patience and believe me this is a must have attribute when teaching people to surf. I have the coordination of a drunken pirate on a wooden leg and he calmly instructed me throughout the day with a smile on his face that took away all inner shame regarding my lack of dexterity.
I HIGHLY recommend you try him out. All too often instructors display veiled frustration with their students. Sergio just wants you to have fun and his light heartedness will even allow the most ego-driven performance oriented narcissist (me) to laugh out loud. And I did get up on that board in the end. Easy as walking the plank!
